Writer Taylor shared the idea behind this new development on social media saying that this evolution was made keeping in mind several comic fans who related or belong to LGBTQ+ communities. He added that while the character of Superman has always been a symbol of justice, the new series will also bring alive hope and authenticity for the readers so they can relate to their favourite character and feel accepted.
