The IAEA confirmed that the fire blast did not damage any essential equipment. The fir has also not triggered any radiation levels to change. The US officials have mentioned that the reactors are protected by robust containment measures and were shut down safely.

Ukrainian officials had previously conveyed that Russia’s attack on the power plant could bring a “real threat of nuclear danger”.
