Johnny Depp celebrated his trail win against ex-wife Amber Heard by spending Rs 48 lakhs on a celebratory dinner at an Indian restaurant called Varanasi. With the globe going digital, the delicious Indian cuisines have found a great place for themselves everywhere. Even the great star of Pirates of the Caribbean and his friends could not resist the taste and enjoyed his trail win dinner with popular Indian cuisine, cocktails, and champagne.
Johnny Depp ordered Indian poplar delicacies like sheekh kababs, paneer tikka masala, tandoori king prawns, chicken tikka, lambh karahi, etc.
The news of the star being in the popular Indian restaurant came into the limelight after the official Twitter handle of the restaurant posted about the visit of Johnny Depp to the restaurant for the dinner. The Twitter handle of the restaurant also tweeted that it was a pleasure to be in the presence of Johnny Depp as well as popular musician Jeff Beck.
Few reports suggest that the actor’s security squad had firstly checked the city centre’s ability to confirm that it was safe and the secrecy of the star could be kept. Johnny Depp, Beck, and few other close friends spent around 2.5 to 3 hours at Varanasi restaurant. The Pirates of the Caribbean star also met the Varanasi restaurant’s manager’s family and friends. The star had a good time at the Indian restaurant and he also had a takeaway bag in his hand while leaving the restaurant.
Just a few days back, Depp was rewarded $10 million and $5 million as compensatory damages and punitive damages respectively after winning the defamation case against ex-wife Amber Heard.
Reports suggest that the Indian restaurant, Varanasi was closed for regular people to host Johnny Depp and his friends in a reserved format.
