Yet another mass shooting in the USA has left everyone shocked. Accused Robert Crimo opened gun-shot in the Highland Park Chicago 4th July parade, killing seven persons.

Robert Crimo who is of 21 years was arrested the same day after the attack on the USA festive Independence Day parade.

Crimo is charged with seven counts of first-degree murder but will be charged with more charges, said the Lake Country State’s Attorney, Eric Rinehart. There are dozens of other charges levied around each victim.

The death total rose to count seven after the death of one wounded victim on Tuesday. The count of injured people goes above 35.

Kevin McCarthy and his wife Irina died in a mass shooting in Highland Park Chicago July 4 parade. The two-year-old son of the couple was found roaming alone after the shooting.

Christopher Covelli, the police spokesman mentioned that they believe that the accused did pre-planned the Highland Park parade shoot several weeks earlier and he was solely responsible for the act. He also said that it doesn’t look like the act was motivated racially or by any religion.

He further added that Crimo does have a history of mental illness and has threatening behavior. Earlier in the past, police have been called to Crimo’s home twice, once to investigate a suicide attempt and the second time after a relative complained about Crimo threatening to kill everybody in the family.

The police spokesperson also mentioned that the accused used a fire escape to enter the roof building that was overlooking the route of the parade. He fired around 70 rounds from a rifle. The accused, Crimo, was dressed in women’s clothing to hide his identity.
