46 people were found dead in a tractor-trailer in San Antonio, Texas. 16 people were found injured includes four children as well; all the injured people were taken to the hospital.

This is one of the most tragic incidents that took the lives of 46 people who attempted to cross the US borders from Mexico. In the year 2017 also ten migrants have died in the year who were trapped inside a truck parked at Walmart, San Antonio.

Police Chief, Mr. William Mcmanus talking about the incident said that a city worker was alerted with a cry for help at the back road remote area of South West San Antonio. When the officers arrived, they found a body on the ground outside the half-opened gate of the truck trailer.

Out of the 16 people injured, 4 were children and their bodies were heated up, and they look dehydrated, and there was also no water found in the trailer. They had a heat stroke, although the truck-trailer was a refrigerated one but no visible working AC unit was found inside the truck.

46 people who died were family people and were looking to find a better life for themselves. The home countries of the immigrants remain unknown and also the fact that how long they had been abandoned on the roadside is not known yet.

In a press briefing, the official spokesperson said that those people in the trailer were suspected to be involved in a migrant smuggling attempt in South Texas, US.
